Leaderboards
This page explains how Polyanna's leaderboard views are organized, how time windows change rankings, and what each list is meant to surface.
Overview#
Leaderboards answer different trader research questions: who is consistently profitable, who moves the most volume, who has the best ROI, who is worth studying for copy-trading, and which wallets show specialized behavior. Each list has its own eligibility rules so traders are compared against the behavior that list is meant to surface. Most boards support 7-day, 30-day, 90-day, and all-time views; the displayed row metrics use the same selected window. Activity badges appear only when they are more recent than the selected window. Some specialty boards are all-time only. Leaderboard ranks also appear on trader profiles in a compact ribbon menu, where each rank links back to the matching board and highlights the trader row.
Time Windows#
Time-window controls let you compare recent and long-term performance. Each ranking and displayed row metric is recomputed for the selected window, so a trader's standing and shown PnL can change materially between short-term and all-time views. A trader who ranks #1 over “All time” may not appear in the 7-day view if they haven't been active recently. Some specialty leaderboards are all-time only because their signals need a longer history to be meaningful.
Leaderboard Tabs#
Most Consistent#
Traders who maintain high win rates across many markets without wild swings. Scored by win rate adjusted for return volatility and weighted by profit — so a 70% win rate on $50K PnL ranks above 90% on $12.
Top Volume#
Ranked by total share volume (outcome token contracts traded), matching Polymarket's own volume definition. No filters on profitability or bot status. Both share volume and USD volume are displayed.
Top PnL#
The biggest winners in the selected window, ranked purely by period profit. Choose All for the all-time winners list. No minimum thresholds — if you made money in that window, you're eligible.
Worst Losers#
The traders who lost the most money in the selected window, ranked by period loss. Choose All for the all-time losers list. No filters — raw PnL from worst to least worst.
Best ROI#
Return on invested capital — profit divided by total amount spent buying positions. Shows how much was put in and how much came back. The table surfaces ROI first, then Invested and Return for context.
Specialists#
Traders active in a small number of markets who concentrate on areas they know well. Scored by win rate weighted by ROI, so high accuracy only counts if it translates to actual returns on capital.
Least Risky#
Best risk-adjusted returns weighted by profit size and penalized for drawdowns. Scored by Sharpe ratio × log-scaled PnL × drawdown penalty. The drawdown penalty is 1 − |max drawdown|/PnL — giving back 80% of your profits at the trough tanks your score even with high Sharpe. Must be profitable with enough trading history.
Biggest Buys#
Largest single-session taker bets. Sessions are 1-hour windows grouped by market and direction. The primary column is Max Session Buy, which shows the peak whale entry for each trader.
Copyable#
Profitable traders who primarily buy in liquid markets with high win rates, intended as stronger copy-trading candidates. The score blends win rate, ROI, buy ratio, liquidity, market breadth, and PnL. To qualify, a trader must be profitable, not flagged as a bot, and pass minimum thresholds on activity, accuracy, and risk. Activity badges show whether the trader is active now or mainly a historical signal.
High-Conviction Buyer#
Accumulation-heavy traders who buy with conviction on liquid markets and hold to redemption rather than churning out via secondary-market sells. Filtered for buy ratio ≥ 70%, redeem ratio ≥ 75% (fraction of exit USD realized via on-chain redemption), high-volume market focus ≥ 70%, ROI ≥ 30%, positive PnL, at least 50 trades across at least 5 markets, and a trading cadence between 0.3 and 5 trades per day. Ranked by freshness-adjusted Sharpe ratio, with raw Sharpe and PnL-weighted conviction as tie-breakers, so steadier active PnL paths come first.
Crypto Scalper#
Traders who specialize in Polymarket's crypto up/down markets — 5-minute, 15-minute, and hourly BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, DOGE, HYPE, and BNB price-range markets. This board is for traders whose activity is concentrated in those fast-settling crypto markets, not general crypto-topic traders.
Gate conditions: buy ratio ≥ 70%, at least 90% of volume on crypto up/down markets, redeem ratio ≥ 75%, average moves per market ≤ 3.0 (targeted entries, not noisy churning), ROI ≥ 15%, positive PnL, at least 50 trades, and at least 5 distinct markets. Ranked by freshness-adjusted Sharpe ratio, with raw Sharpe and PnL-weighted scalper strength as tie-breakers, so steadier active PnL paths come first.
Weather Sharps#
Traders who specialize in Weather-category markets, using the same copyability-oriented gate as Crypto Scalper but with market focus measured by weather-market volume instead of crypto up/down slugs.
Gate conditions: buy ratio ≥ 70%, at least 90% of volume on weather markets, redeem ratio ≥ 75%, average moves per market ≤ 3.0, ROI ≥ 15%, positive PnL, at least 50 trades, and at least 5 distinct markets. Ranked by freshness-adjusted Sharpe ratio, with raw Sharpe and PnL-weighted specialist strength as tie-breakers.
Filters & Thresholds#
Each tab applies minimum activity thresholds to filter out noise and ensure that rankings reflect meaningful trading activity, not one-off wins.
