Smart-Money Signals
Smart-Money Signals finds active markets where Polyanna's strongest trader groups are taking meaningful positions, especially when their exposure differs from current odds.
Trader Groups#
Signals open on Top PnL and can also be viewed through Most Consistent or High Conviction. Group membership is snapshotted weekly so the signal does not churn every analytics refresh. Current positioning inside those groups refreshes from indexed filled orders with resolved market metadata.
- Top PnL uses the largest all-time winners as a direct money-made lens.
- Most Consistent uses the top consistent all-time traders for a stable signal.
- High Conviction uses accumulation-heavy traders who buy with conviction and tend to hold through resolution.
Category Heatmap#
Category cells summarize open trader-group positions by broad Polymarket category. The main percentage is USD-weighted YES positioning. A category at 78% means 78% of the group's active USD exposure in that category is on YES outcomes.
Average divergence compares Smart-Money YES positioning with the current market YES price across markets in the category. Positive divergence means the group is more YES-aligned than the market price; negative divergence means less YES-aligned.
Page Layout#
Smart-Money Signals is organized around tabs. Opportunities is the default view and lists active markets where trader-group positioning differs from current odds. Category map summarizes broad positioning. Consensus shows concentrated positioning where market odds broadly agree with the group. History is the Pro view for retained weekly signals and resolved-outcome context. Public views never include raw wallet addresses or individual trader rows.
Market Detail#
Pro users can open signal analysis from Smart-Money Signals. The detail page shows the market question, category, current YES odds, Smart-Money YES/NO positioning, divergence versus market price, and the trader table behind the aggregate. The detail page also shows the market's weekly Smart-Money YES-share history when historical points exist. Anonymous and free users see the Pro gate before any wallet-bearing detail data is requested.
History#
Pro users can review up to 12 weekly Smart-Money snapshots per trader group. History rows are reduced to category and market aggregates, then compared with the prior weekly snapshot to show changes in position size, YES alignment, and divergence. History payloads do not include individual trader rows or wallet addresses.
Access Model#
- Anonymous and free users receive the current opportunity list, category concentration, group size, and wallet-safe teaser market rows. Public market-list rows do not include divergence, position size, market price, trader entries, or wallet addresses.
- Pro users receive the full map payload with market-level divergence, total position size, current market YES price, top trader entries, and Pro-only market detail pages with trader tables and weekly market sparklines. Pro users also receive the reduced 12-week history endpoint.
- API clients get the same tier-shaped response as the owning account. The map endpoint uses a private no-store response because its shape varies by tier.
Smart-Money Signals depth is enforced by the API. The frontend never tries to reconstruct wallet identity or Pro-only market fields that are not present in the response.
